Hosting at Saltbush & Sea
Whether it’s a milestone birthday for sixteen, a wedding on the pier, or a full buyout for one hundred and twenty, our events team works alongside you from first conversation to final toast. Executive Chef Hannah Doyle will design a menu around your guests, our sommeliers will pair every course, and the harbour will do the rest.

Intimate gatherings
Minimum 8 guests
Our private dining room seats up to 16 guests with uninterrupted harbour views. Ideal for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and executive dinners. Includes a bespoke set menu crafted by Chef Hannah.
Celebrations & weddings
Minimum 20 guests
Our semi-private pavilion at the end of Pier 7 accommodates up to 50 standing or 32 seated. Perfect for weddings, engagement parties, and corporate celebrations. Exclusive use of the pier terrace included.

Good to Know
We recommend booking 8–12 weeks in advance for private dining, and 4–6 months for whole venue buyouts and wedding season (September–April).
Absolutely. Our menu is built around seasonal, native ingredients and we cater to all dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and halal with advance notice.
Yes. Our head sommelier Marcus will design a pairing to complement your menu. Wine pairing is $85 per person for a 5-course dinner.
The Private Dining Room has a minimum of 8 guests, the Pier Pavilion 20 guests, and whole venue buyouts are quoted individually.
